Mozzarella di Bufala and Pesto Crostini Recipe
My friend Brianne over at Ruffled Rose Design was the mastermind behind this delicious crostini recipe. Not only are they the perfect appetizer or quick meal, but kids love them too. She has three kids who are constantly begging her to make more.
When Brianne isn’t making yummy food, she is busy making her home absolutely gorgeous and being an amazing momma. You can follow her on Instagram at @ruffledrosedesign.
Mozzarella di Bufala and Pesto Crostini Recipe
Ingredients
- Rosemary Parmesan Bread (the best is from Costco’s bakery)
- Pesto
- Buffalo Mozzarella Cheese*
*Buffalo mozzarella cheese or Mozzarella di Bufala is packed in water and super creamy. You can find it at Costco and Trader Joes. But in a pinch, fresh mozzarella is good too.
Directions
1. Slice the bread and toast lightly.
2. Spread a generous layer of pesto on each slice of toasted bread.
3. Cut the fresh mozzarella into slices and place on top of the pesto.
4. Top with fresh cracked pepper. Enjoy!
Brianne also throws amazing parties and I am hoping that she will share a woodland fairy party she did for her daughter with us soon. She comes up with the best ideas and has a great eye for decorating. Her Instagram account is full of wonderful ideas! She breathes life into a lot of older pieces with a little paint and finesse.
