Mistletoe Christmas Baby Shirt and Baby Hat Tutorial
I made this cute mistletoe Christmas baby shirt and hat set for my adorable little niece last year so that when she wore her hat she would always be under the mistletoe. (Like any of us needed an excuse to kiss her!)
If any of you have babies in your lives that need kissing, I have included a free Silhouette file so that you can make your own. I know it is still October, but I always like to get my Christmas crafting on early. It would also be a super cute baby shower gift for fall baby showers.

How to make the baby hat
I got tricky and made the baby hat out of a shirt sleeve. I had a long-sleeved shirt that I wanted to use to layer under another shirt, but I didn’t want the sleeves. Being the craft hoarder that I am, I saved the sleeves after cutting them off to make them into hats. It required no sewing and almost no cutting. Because it is knit, you don’t even have to hem.
1) Cut the sleeve off of the shirt up by the top of the sleeve.
2) Tie a knot at the bottom of the sleeve where it is the narrowest.
3) Roll up the other side of the sleeve to make the brim of the hat.
